All Parents/Guardians are invited to engage in activities to work in partnership with teachers, advocates and the site manager to enhance your child’s experience in our program

There are many ways to be involved:

  • Classroom volunteering

  • Participating in child’s developmental assessments

  • Share observations of your child’s growth

  • Select child’s individual developmental goals

  • Provide input on activities in the classroom

  • Share your culture and traditions

  • Learn about resources in your community

  • Home visits for Education and Family Assessments

  • Family maps – family assessment/family goal setting

  • Parent training at the site or in the community

  • Fatherhood involvement activities

  • Local parent committee

  • Policy council

  • Advisory committees

  • Participating in local community events

  • Attend local and state networking committees

All advocates are trained in the Strength Based Model. Families identify strengths and through engagement build upon those strengths.
